LA VERGNE’S PARTY IN THE PARK TO BENEFIT LOCAL FLOOD VICTIMS

Sponsored by: The Tanning Boutique and the City of La Vergne.

While everyone is so kindly feeling charitable – neighbors helping neighbors and giving back to your community – we wanted to get the word out about a major event coming up on Saturday, May 29th. Designed to help families in La Vergne affected by the flood, this is sponsored by The Tanning Boutique and City of La Vergne.

From 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., La Vergne Party in the Park “to Benefit Local Flood Victims” is scheduled at Veterans Memorial Park at 115 Floyd Mayfield Drive, in La Vergne.

Not unlike Old Timers’ Day, La Vergne’s Party in the Park will feature Twelve South, Messenger, Brookline as well as other local musicians, demonstrations from US Tae Kwon Do Academy and many other performers.

Dominoes Pizza, Will Stans Grill, Buffaloe Wild Wings as well as several other food vendors will be there to fill your tummies. Bring your children to enjoy the kid’s area, water balloon fights, pie throwing booth, and dunk tank featuring our own Mayor Erwin and other city officials.

Judy and Ryan Singer will be hosting a Corn Hole Tournament, so bring your best game. There will also be door prizes to be given out throughout the day.

Money from the public and businesses may be donated at any Regions Bank into the La Vergne’s Party in the Park Flood Relief Fund, where cashier checks will later be given to flood victims, as identified by the city’s management personnel.
